I’m very excited to have worked with artist Elyse Graham on her new lookbook. This project was a bit out of the ordinary for me, but I love delving into still life every now and again, and it was so much fun collaborating with Elyse. We worked together on all the aspects of the production, from the shoot, to the design, to the printing. Here are a few of my favorite shots.
Outtakes from the Oregon Freeze Dry Factory, shot for Outside last year. These guys work their shifts inside a -20 degree freezer, which is where I photographed them (wearing nothing but a t-shirt and lab coat).
Out in this month’s Wired is a big feature I shot last summer on the resurgence of Downtown Las Vegas. The project is being led by Tony Hsieh, the CEO of Zappos, and it’s rapidly transforming the derelict area east of Fremont Street into a fun, hip capital of innovation. It was super fun hanging out with all of these guys for a couple of days and the project is so inspiring. Check out the full story here.
